Stephen Diener interviews Rep. Eric Burlison about the Trump administration's UAP work. Burlison qualifies his staff's claim of a successful UAP-luring operation: investigators recognized recurring conditions and then witnessed and recorded objects at a military site and during FBI responses in private communities, but he rejects the idea that officials found a repeatable trigger that guarantees an appearance. He says Stephen Miller treats finding current objects as a top priority, the UAP Science Advisory Council has held multiple meetings including an in-person meeting with Miller in Washington, and Burlison's office now offers an attorney-assisted route from anonymous tips to meetings with the FBI, ODNI, or Miller. He says investigators have struggled to find records of a historical legacy program, and any future congressional hearing should call people with direct program access, compel reluctant witnesses if necessary, and confront officials who give conflicting accounts.

Well, always special when we get to do this. Happy to welcome back Congressman Eric Burleson. Uh Eric, it's been a little while since I was able to bring you on here to UAP, so I'm happy to have you back.
Thanks for uh coming back on here. Good to be back, Steven. You you're really one of the most genuine, kind, and um and and and really um uh you know diligent in this effort.
And so uh it's good to be back. Good to see you. Yeah, yeah, likewise, and thank you. I appreciate that. Um, well, I guess we'll just jump right into the deep end here.
Uh, hopefully I'm I'm able to be kind here today. I think I will be. Um, but there's so much that I want to you know get to you here with today, and obviously your time is valuable.
So just gonna go right into it. There was a I want to bring it up here because I don't want to misquote you. Um, there was a a tweet that you had put out uh about two weeks ago.
It was on August 19th. It caught my eye and it caught a lot of people's eyes, where you had written, our own agencies went back through every past sighting, asked what draws these things in, then recreated those conditions on purpose at a site with prior activity.
And I want to underline that because I want to come back to that. ODNI, CIA, FBI, and military intelligence were all on site. Something showed up. Now, this, of course, is in uh connection to um early reports about military working with FBI and other agencies, as you put in there, to uh lure in UFOs, essentially a UFO luring operation.
And something showed up. So can you elaborate on that? What can you tell us about that operation, Eric? And is it the only one? No, I can't say anything, see.
So what I'll so at the the the that that event is actually well documented in the first two tranches. There it and it's the the two documents that most people just overlook.
But these to me are the the best, most important documents. I think I even brought that up one of uh on one of your previous podcasts is that people are missing this report.
And the reason is is because if you're in the know and you're like you like I have been, and and like in these briefings, that that event was significant.
And and um, and so and I do think I like I'm reflecting on my own my own comment there. Um what or a better way to put it is what my staff document and then tweets on my behalf is that it's probably what I would say it's not an accurate reflection that to say that we have cracked the cracked the secret code to to bringing in a UFO.
Okay. That that's not I would say just while they they certainly are aware and are are um cognizant of things that tend to when they when you tend to see UFOs, what are the commonalities, what things correlate with that?
So, but I don't think anyone has like officially said when you hit this button, guaranteed you're gonna have a UFO. And so I just want to make sure that that's kind of uh out there.
Gotcha. Yeah, fair enough. And so I mean, is it is it safe to say based off of what you learned, though, that's there is there is kind of an an admission through action, meaning if the military and three letter agencies are working together to try to lure things in, now whether or not obviously they were, you know, they have it perfected, like you said, the fact that, or maybe can I say fact, or the the the you know allegation maybe uh that they have been doing this, is that an admission through action?
Right. I think that they I think there's an it an admission that that this that these events happen, that there, that there was enough um re there was enough reportings to take it credibly, and that they they then sent people to investigate it.
And those very people happened to see it firsthand. So that that only that not only happened at that event, but that has happened uh in previous investigations by the FBI as well.
So in field in in field investigations in in uh not on military bases, but actually in just private communities, this has happened. So and what I say is that UFOs have been cited, they've been they've been called, they they come to take a look, they come to investigate, and the thing shows up right there for them to be able to film and view themselves.
And so this that, along with hearing the the information about that event that happened um at the military base and seeing the footage and the video and the photos of the of these kind of glowing orbs in other in other circumstances, putting those two together, it's um it it's brought me from a point of of you know being a complete and total skeptic to saying, look, there's something going on that we cannot explain.
Now, will I say that that's that's ET or like an alien from another planet? I can't definitively say that. I don't know. I don't think anybody definitively knows. And that's the more disturbing part is that whenever I talk to our intelligence officials about what are these glowing orbs that operate intelligently, that that um don't need like any kind of propellers or any kind of um uh you know what you would call conventional flight means.
These things just hover statically and then can go instantaneous speeds. And they can take right angle turns. Uh when I ask, like what do our best scientists think that these things are?
And I get a blank stare, that's not good. That's not good, right? So um, but if for the longest time, I think that this government was afraid to admit that we didn't know what this stuff was.
Does that make sense? Like it's like a glomar. The the the term is like a glomar uh response, which is that if we tell you we don't know what it is, we're admitting a vulnerability to an adversary.
And I think that that is what the I think that that personally, that may be what we've been experiencing. I think that that the door for me, the door is open to that.
That this is exactly what we've been experiencing. I'm also I think that it's important that we continue the investigation and look into the historic archives and try to ascertain it was there a legacy program, did how how much work and how much success has been done by previous administrations, peep previous um bureaucrats, whether they were with the FBI or CIA or what whatnot, was there a legacy program?
We I think that that work still needs to continue. But what I I to give you kind of an insight, what I'm hearing from people that are that are working um on this topic is that they're not finding that.
That seems to be a more difficult job than finding the craft themselves, is finding any kind of documentation that we've had a legacy program. So that's interesting, yeah, because obviously that's always one of the big um you know claims is that the legacy program where all the reverse engineering has happened over however many years you want to put on it.
Um, but so but you're saying that the people who are looking into it haven't found the actual documentation, the smoking gun document that would show them that there is some type of hidden legacy program where this person and that person, uh, you know, we're the gatekeepers of it.
They haven't been able to find it. Right. And I think that that where they're trying to get to, what what appears to me is that the focus and the energy is really trying to get to these objects, get to the the physical craft, um, you know, if and where do they exist.
And and even if it and and then also try to figure out how do we study the craft that have that that we're seeing over these military bases and over the you know residential skies.
Yeah, exactly. Because they are being seen, of course. Um there's there's no doubt about that. And then when they you know show up during these operations, like you said, something is showing up, something is happening, and you're getting briefed on it.
So it's not like this is just, you know, yeah um, you know, fairy tales that are that are being told to kids around a campfire by any means. So with with that said, just based off of maybe I don't know, based off of your own fact finding, Eric, can you say, do you think that the US has recovered craft?
Maybe not taken down intentionally, or maybe you do want to talk on that, but uh at least recovered craft with the intention of trying to reverse engineer it? So 100% we have recovered craft with the intention of reverse engineering it.
I cannot say whether any of that craft is non human intelligence. Gotcha. We absolutely have clearly programs in place, and I think that that you'd be shocked if we didn't have programs in place for recovering and reverse engineering um our adversaries craft or our own, right?
If we have something that's super important and and that and it goes down, we do not want our adversaries to get access to it. Yeah. Okay. So just the program exists.
Like Jake Barber. Jake Barber absolutely um what what he has said that you know and and that you know being that he he claims to have been a part of one of these programs or operations that that did multiple operations actually picking up picking up craft.
Um I I I think that we'd all be look I don't think you're giving away the farm to say that yes that that clearly exists. The question is the you know the latter part of what Jake said which is two times he and his his team they picked up something that was uh you know otherworldly I can't I have yet to confirm that that's real.
And you've spoken to him right you you've spoken to Jake before yeah multiple yeah okay what do you make of his just your personal opinion what do you make because I I've never spoken to him I've always in the interview so I mean what do you make of his story?
Jake is unbelievably an honest individual and probably too honest. I um I think he he uh in many ways there's a lot of things that he probably would it would have been better for him to have just held back on um if he wanted to be you know but but but because he is such a genuine and honest person, I think that he felt compelled to say so for example when he talked about having feeling an emotional connection so uh and and having some kind of like um you know I I I'm not gonna put words in his mouth but you know what I'm saying talking about when he spoke to that kind of the feelings that he felt he felt love and that that connection right that's right that pro I think I know that people advised him don't bring that up because it just it distracts from the from the narrative and um and he's and his responses look it it was real that I'm I'm gonna bring it up because that was what um I experienced and I and so I'm just saying just knowing his character and knowing who he is he he's a a person that I trust.
Okay yeah fair enough and I mean so of course that leads to the video right where we see that uh I believe what Ross Colthart had put out with that original interview on News Nation that shows uh purportedly picking up that egg shaped craft whatever it was it it looks like a giant egg um I mean I know I know you said you haven't seen definitive proof but when you watch that and you talk about Jake as a person and and you read on his story and how he comes across when you see that and put that all together do you what do you think we're looking at um I mean I I don't know Steven until I until I get get um and that's what we're trying to track down I'm trying to find where did these things go and and where are they at currently so I think that uh I think grush and Jake knew where the where these things were at some point.
Um I I would say that that we don't definitively know where they are today because because things have are being moved. So I I'm glad you mentioned David Gresh actually because that is a name I wanted to bring up here.
He had a pretty revealing interview and I brought this up with uh Jordan Flowers from the uh Disclosure Foundation not too long ago here on the show. And I want to bring it up to you as well uh because David Grush I thought it was I thought actually not even probably it was the most revealing interview he's done so far with Dr.
Phil. Um and he spoke very candidly about like okay we've recovered you know at least I I forget the number I think he said at least 10 different craft he said we've spoken to or we we've we've communicated with extraterrestrials yeah you've I'm I'm sure you've seen those clips and everything.
So you see some of that you hear some of that what is your reaction when you hear him talking about those things of being so specific about the number of craft the number of bodies and how we've communicated with extraterrestrials look I mean I think that we've got to get I've got to get my hands on that on on the same thing that David has has seen and experienced the that requires White House approval right so a lot of what we're what we're doing and and this was when he said this he's speaking Dr.
Phil there's a level of personal connection with Donald Trump that that Dr. Phil has that I don't even have right so it appears that Dr. Phil has got an inside connection to the president and that's fantastic.
I want I want there to be reporters and people that are interested in this topic to to get the attention of the president. But at the end of the day you've got to get the president's approval to be able to go in and see read those see those files read the documents see the craft for yourself that's going to take and when when David said you know I can take you there I think that what the caveat of that of that statement you know was prep had to be prefaced by assuming the president gives you that level of access and assuming the president has set this set this up.
And I was just about to ask that actually it's funny because there's been a lot made out of where did Dr. Phil come from in all this right it's it kind of feels like it came out of the blue where Dr.
Phil is now the UFO guy and he's talking about UFOs on his podcast. And that's not a disparaging mark it was just one of those things that people kind of like were caught off guard by but I wonder if the answer is kind of what you're saying if we can connect some dots here um was he placed there he has that personal relationship with the president him and him and President Trump have known each other for a long time so can we make the assumption you think it's out of the ballpark you think it's out of the realm of possibility to make the assumption that Dr.
Phil is talking about these things because the president trusts him and has told him to go ahead and kind of talk about some of the stuff and bring it to bring it to the I would say he's certainly using his level of trust and relationship with the president on this topic but I mean I don't know that he was I I don't know if he was asked out of the blue to do this.
I think that he this is a this is a hot topic and and it interests so many people uh so I you would be surprised how many um kind of celebrity type people reach out even to me the most boring guy from the Midwest to talk about this.
Very exciting you're a very exciting person Eric they all want to talk to you. Yeah I mean can we I mean obviously I can't just let that hang there.
You can you can deny that's fine but can you talk about any of the people that have reached out to you that I don't want to I don't want to violate that fair enough I have to ask I mean it's it's it's it's it's low hanging fruit so I at least have to bring it up but I'm interested I'm I kind of wonder myself um were you surprised like were you is it like one of those moments where you're like how did this person get my number I never expected to hear from them.
Yeah it's um well they they work through other people so it's like someone will reach out and say hey um this person wants to what wants to chat with you can I share your number right so yeah we're all in six degrees separation.
So very cool. Okay fair enough um speaking about okay kind of going back to the president's inner circle uh I know somebody that you have been uh speaking to along with other members of Congress is Stephen Miller and Stephen is of course the one of president's closest uh advisors senior advisor to the president and he's kind of been tasked with this issue right um now I know the vice president JD Vance has spoken about it this openly saying that he's very interested in this topic but this um and he hasn't gotten to dig into it yet but it seems like that mantle has been given to Stephen Miller.
So can you talk to us about what kind of conversations you've had with Stephen Miller and kind of where that's looking right now. Yeah um Stephen Miller is a bulldog like he really is um a heads down uh this is a topic that he wants to get resolved I think that um I I mean I think he he wants the craft to yesterday.
He he wants it um and he and I think he wants the president to roll roll it out live on national television. Like so he's super into it like he takes it seriously.
Super into it takes it seriously and he's very um you know he he's he's very thoughtful and and uh and and and kind of kind of the same way that I am very some views that views it with a somewhat skeptical tone but also is driven very very uh driven to get to the bottom of this I think that the the I think there's a few things that are driving him one is that there's that we have this shared feeling that we're just very frustrated with the deep state right I mean there's no president that's taken on the deep state more than Donald Trump and this the and so the notion that the deep state is holding back from the president of the United States is something that infuriates his administration.
I think that along with the fact that you've got these craft that are operating with impunity over our military installations. And that is something that is driving the administration to figure out what's going on.
Right? So I sense a level of urgency when it comes to this uh pursue effort and um and and so yeah I I think that they're focused on trying to get to the the here and the now and to the today and probably less focused on the the or at least they bifurcated the investigation so they have other people that are working on the legacy like trying to go back and see what what what's been going on historically I think that there's a larger effort to track down what is in the here and the now.
Yeah but that's it's really interesting um to hear because that is something I've wondered myself, which is why I ask it um you know how much how seriously is it being taken?
Like where does it fall on the plate of responsibilities for someone like Stephen Miller? But it it's encouraging it uh it sounds like this is like really one of his main things to to go after.
Um am I right in saying that based off of what you're yeah he I I think so I mean this is one of his top uh priorities and it's the priority of ODNI it's a priority there's a there's a there's a healthy team now that's that's working on this and that's good.
And I think that they can all keep each other honest as well. So when you had just Arrow working on this I think that uh you certainly had you you it created an opportunity for someone to just to um to control the narrative right sure and and to uh to not do anything but when you've got multiple people that are part of this investigation they they you know it it basically makes an opportunity for people to keep each other honest.
Right, and do you do do you feel like he's running into um stonewalling efforts? I mean I I don't know if you've gotten any updates lately from his office or from him directly.
I mean is there a is there a sense of frustration like you're talking about they want the answers they want to figure out what's flying over our bases, what's flying over you know in our skies that we don't know what they are and and apparently can just do whatever they want.
Um is there a sense of frustration there that he's not getting answers quick enough oh I mean uh knowing Steven I'm sure that he's frustrated that he didn't he he doesn't have the answer now.
Right. So but but um because he moves fast and he he's very aggressive and he's um so I I can't think of a better person to be tasked with this in the Trump administration.
Very good. And that well that that is good to know that he wants the answers, right? Because I think that's something that people wonder about is okay, the people in charge do they even want to find out what's going on?
They talk about it they say that people are interested in it. They're putting out government tranches you know five different tranches have come out so far as as we're speaking here today.
I'm sure sixth will will come out uh as well. So right front facing this is the most transparent an administration has ever been uh Steve think about it if just one of these releases happened in this administration it would have been the most it would have been the biggest bombshell in 80 years of of people talking about this topic.
Right wouldn't it right just one of these tranches and the fact that they're they're getting ready to to come out with tranche number six like this is it's unprecedented the the not the level of videos the and the willingness to be to to basically open the kimono and be vulnerable and and tell the American people like we don't really even know.
We don't have the answers we're gonna let you decide um that is that is yeah that is a wonderful and refreshing difference uh from what we're used to. Yeah no very true it it is it's very different it's something that um you know I hate to say that we've gotten spoiled but it people want people want that definitive answer right like we're we're seeing things we understand something's going on and now people want that definitive answer which my big takeaway here right now in this portion of what we're talking about is that um it doesn't seem like it's just lip service from the administration that you have someone like Steven Miller who actually does want the answers too.
And it's not just it's not playing games. So that's that's good to hear. Yeah. Now on top of that um kind of sticking with with the administration portion of this the UAP advisory council was also created which is something that's new uh headed by Avi Loeb with the likes of Tim Gala uh Tim Gallaudet and and others on this board.
What are you hearing about that Eric I know Avi has come out and said that they're gonna have their first meeting um what are you hearing yeah they've had multiple meetings um they've had multiple meetings over Zoom and and and and virtual meetings they just had a an in person meeting in DC this at the beginning of this week so and that that meeting concluded it was more of a um from what I I I gather it's it was more of a like a pro forma you know kind of uh formal like they they they had a meeting with Stephen Miller and and that the administration and and the people that are working on purs on pursue.
So that was I'm glad to hear that that that that happened that that meeting occurred in person. Um I I would hope that they're getting the data that they need.
So I think that um there's a few things that I and look I mean I would probably if it were my if it were my team I would probably stack it with more theoretical physicists myself.
Okay. Um I think that that's that's greatly needed um so and I and I think they need some young young minds. So like what I mean is by that is that we have some we had some brilliant people involved in this topic how put off Eric Davis in the past we need the new how put offs and the new Eric Davises to be to step up and and and uh and and lend their efforts to this um we we need some some you know eric weinsteins right so we we need some some people like that to step up and and uh and I don't I don't think I I think that the the team has I from what I've gathered they I think they have one or two somebody like that but I think that they they need to stack that team with with a lot of theoretical physicists who are willing to challenge each other and propose um while you know sometimes solutions that may may other people may think is is nutty but that's that that's the kind of um thinking that we need right now to understand what we're experiencing.
What are you hoping uh happens from this as far as the advisory board is concerned what you know what what would you be satisfied with when they come out with different findings or advice toward toward the president?
Yeah I think that they need this they need to have access to all of the data. So they they need to be given ac you know un you know unmitigated unfiltered access to the data so that they can they can do their work and then come up with theoretical theories on on or they can come up with theories on what what it is that we're experiencing, what these glowing orbs are, what a triangle craft is that's that uh that we that that we often get reports of right so that's it and there's there was some of that work that was done um but I think that uh you know if we have some fresh eyes some new people with with with up to date data I think that that will be helpful.
Are you getting new reports Eric are you having people coming to you still um saying hey this is happening that's happening I mean I know you guys just came back from recess but I mean as far as any any briefings and things like that, are you coming across new things that are making you scratch your head?
Um I I think so since Trump has come out with the memo or the statement that that they'll that he'll waive NDAs and people can have a formal process of coming forward um we got a little bit of pushback from some some whistleblowers who said you know I don't know that that's enough protection.
So what we did in our office is create a mechanism for people to come forward a formal mechanism and and I'll I'll get that link to you so you can share it if you if you'd like yeah um it's it you just go to my off my formal website my representative website and you'll see that you can click the link there but um and the and the the process that this is the difference between the past and today when it comes to that process.
When I talk to the administration and they say and I and I say look guys there's still a level of uncomfortable people feel uncomfortable can they come through me and can I be a part can I join them when they meet with you guys?
And can they bring their attorney can I bring an attorney for this for these discussions and they their their response is absolutely like we want nothing to hold an individual back from feeling safe and and um and being willing to come forward.
And that that is a very very um genuine uh take and and that the fact that they so and I think that that should give anyone that wants to say what they want to say a level of comfort to know that you can come to Eric Burleson's office or or or um Tim Birchett or Anna Polina Luna or any member of Congress's office that you that you trust and that we can then connect you to an attorney if you do not have one there's a lot of different groups that that are willing to to provide those that that legal counsel.
Yeah and then and then we we can decide if and when and who we're gonna go to right so if you just want to talk to me and give me tips on what to subpoena who to subpoena what to um what to send interrogatives and send letters for that's fantastic you can rename you can remain anonymous that's a fantastic level and we can that that's something that uh some people do today and that's been very helpful for us.
If you want to go further and you want to speak directly to the FBI or ODI or uh Stephen Miller himself the the then you know that's the kind of thing that we I we can Sherpa you through that process, right?
And make sure that you're not mistreated that that we would we have all the fail safes in place to make sure that you you know you don't receive any kind of uh retaliation etc.
Yeah that's huge honestly that's that's huge that you're doing that and your colleagues are doing that um because before you know uh it was just kind of hey go talk to Arrow and then well we we know how how that's gone in the past um you have not been able correct me if I'm wrong you have not been able to have a one on one or at least a group talk with the president yet am I right about that?
No I have not no okay so with that said I'm curious uh if you got that opportunity I'm sure you're you are pursuing that opportunity so if and when you do get that opportunity what's something that you would specifically want to bring up to him about this in order you know you have two minutes to talk to him about this subject.
What would you want to say to him that would have the most impact to try to move this forward with him well first I would thank him. The first thing I would do is say thank you like you you have done more for transparency and disclosure than any president in history.
Right. And the and the second thing I would say is like Mr. President the archives are there they need to be scrubbed they need to be we we need to scan the CIA the the warehouses of CIA documents for not only not only this topic but then be able to get information and be able to on a lot of mysteries that we have right whether it's MKUltra what happened with JFK we know that there are warehouses of documents that are that that are not digitized they're not tagged and and that this is the this is probably one of the most difficult efforts is figuring out what's in those archives because you literally it's like the Indiana Jones warehouses that you have to these are unlike basically boxes that are that are that that contain some fantastic information but no one knows because we don't really have any any computer system or anything that uh that knows what's in this.
Wow. And it's by design Steve they do that by design they don't want it to be easy to get access to these records but I think it's I think that we need to I think that we need to find a system that's safe secure that can digitize all of this information and I mean and it's not unheard of to go through that that much of a volume of of documents hospitals I I when I worked in in software for hospitals you would scan thousands of pages a minute right you could you you have systems that could do this kind of thing.
And so it just, it's just like you said, Indiana Jones, you know, stash it away in a warehouse somewhere and people will forget about it or not even know that it exists.
But those places do exist where these secrets just sit in unmarked boxes. That's right. Wow I think you would be very interested in that and I do you do you know if he's aware and I say this um you know it might be controversial but there have been people who have confirmed in fact Lou Elizondo was on here a few months back and I asked him and he he confirmed it that uh former vice president uh Dick Cheney the late uh Dick Cheney was one of the gatekeepers to this secret.
We talk about you know a legacy program. Oh yeah so Lou confirmed that he did yeah he I asked actually asked him on the show and I was shocked to actually get a confirmation uh from him I can need to go back in the archives he may have said it directly or he alluded to the answer yes because we know how guarded he is but uh it was it was it was essentially a yes.
Um do you think the president is aware of that and I ask that because I know his history isn't great with the Cheney name and I wonder if he knew that uh the late Dick Cheney was one of the gatekeepers on this like the main guys if he would be more motivated to go after and to find the secrets just based off of his history with the family.
I don't know I don't know what he knows um I I do I've have heard from people that this is not his favorite topic. He doesn't obsess about this um but he also um very much doesn't trust the deep state so we have I think the reason why we have we have had so much success is because we've we have a president that is probably in the vein of JFK and that the of a level of distrust of of the intelligence community in the deep state and he has every right to be because they basically tried to bury it they they did everything they could to stop him from becoming president.
Yeah remove him from being president and stop him from coming back. Right. Yeah that's fair. Um so uh out outside of that Eric you know I I look back at the past year and I look at the date here and I see I realize that it's been just about a year since the last uh hearing and I want you know I look back on that sitting there watching that happen in the moment.
Dylan Borland is in front of me and Jeff Newsatelli uh is is in front of me and George Knapp and the others that were sitting there that day how do you look back on that now a bit just about a year ago on that hearing and kind of perspective now what what do you take away?
And that was of course when you play the the famous now hellfire missile video that uh you know purportedly shows it bouncing off a craft as the craft continues to go.
So looking back on that now about a year removed what do you what are your reflections on that and how do you connect it to where we are now about a year later?
You know I think it that moved the needle and really kind of solidified that um that that we that there are plenty of intelligent, credible people who have nothing to gain and everything to lose that are willing to speak out about this and and tell their story and tell their narrative.
And from that it to me it became clear we we don't need to continue having these I think we definitively have heard and from enough credible people.
Uh, then from there, I think it pivoted. The investigation has pivoted to getting the receipts.
So we you know we I believe uh Chief Wiggins when he says that he's what he saw absolutely from there I I now think that we need to get the craft we need to actually get our hands on it we need to get better capture better footage better photos we need to get better evidence um if if that makes sense does that does that make sense I think that right there's you know the totality of the people that are talking about this especially considering their level of credibility is is I think has reached has has reached a tipping point.
Right. Yeah and and it's it's interesting because and I totally get what you're saying about okay we've we've heard what we needed to hear now let's go get this stuff.
And um I mean I think a lot of people would be happy to hear you know they basically call to action right um from there though I I And then I got some people that are that are freaking out that that they'll text me or call me or write me that you know we can't take one of these down.
We'll start an intergalactic war or whatever um I I think that uh at the at the end of the day we we need more data we we we cannot have craft violating military airspace with impunity and continue to do that.
So we we need to do we we need to at least capture or um whether it's through photos or video footage, um I mean shoot LIDAR, I don't care what kind of imaging that that we have, get get as much data on what these things are as possible.
Yeah and if we go by you know just talking about earlier with David Grush what he said about we have multiple craft already recovered then we basically just need to go see them.
Like um when we talk about any future hearings you know just just kind of in that vein I know we we kind of just said you know we we've got from it.
So let me answer that question. Yeah it's going to be very very difficult if not nearly impossible to have a hearing in this Congress. Uh we just I literally just uh walked out of my my chief of staff's uh uh office and we were get he he got a text message that we are having our third so we were supposed to be in congress in session three weeks in September leading up to the October recess before the election and they just canceled the third week of September.
Oh wow so at the end of the day we're we're running we're running into the midterm elections Congress you know this Congress is very very hesitant to do anything leading into an election and so the so we're we have no literally no time there's no no days on the calendar to do a hearing that the the all of those opportunities have evaporated so it's probably it would have to be in a lame duck period between November and December or mid November and January and I I and so yeah I mean I there's some names that I'm we are exploring um and I don't want to say those names but what we're trying to do is either get people in that have that have direct knowledge of the legacy program were in the legacy program or had direct contact with UFOs and I don't mean that they saw it I mean that they were in it that's who I want to talk that's who I want to come in the in this the next hearing if we're gonna have a hearing so people that can bring the receipts with them to the hearing if that makes sense like I don't I just I think as I said before I don't think it's fruitful to have a hearing of people that say that further more people that say I saw this yeah from a distance uh that that that kind of thing I think that we really need to hear from the people that were part of the legacy program given that Trump has has uh offered to for these people to have their NDAs waived I think that there's some opportunities there we may have to have some hostile subpoenas to get to to compel people to come forward but we'll but we'll we'll kind of cross that bridge when we get there.
Yeah there's a lot there actually so mainly you answer the question yeah the other thing before I finish is that that I'm kind of interested in doing is bringing people forward that have conflicting statements.
So right so you've got people that have said this agency knows has craft and knows everything about it and then other people who say no we I was in that agency we don't know anything about it so I I kind of want to bring bring people that are that that have differing that are at the epicenter of this board and see who's telling the truth.
So that's that is another intriguing option as well. Does that make sense? Yeah literally putting them on the stand because you two people that are basic basically pointing the finger at each other saying that guy's lying let's bring them both forward and see who's telling the truth.
Right smart and that'd be very very intriguing to see um and so you my main question there was basically what you just answered like what would you be going after what would be the goal of the type of witness you would want to bring in in future hearings do you see this and and I guess you know not to get political of course because you know it's that that's not the theme of of the show here but I'm just curious if uh there if if there is a Democratic controlled house after the midterms, do you see this still being something that a democrat controlled house pursues or or does it go away?
No I you know Stephen the if the moment if we lose the midterms this and this is over. Really? Yeah I don't see so it's over for a couple of reasons one is that the White House the president his team Stephen Miller won't be working on trying to get to UAPs when they're being attacked when they are having to that when they're being subpoenaed left and right they they will not have any time and they they won't be working on this.
And then further the Democrats will be spending every in the every minute of oversight will be investigating the the Trump administration. Wow wow well I guess we'll see what the future holds that would be very sad um and there would be a lot of disappointed people out there that this would fall by the wayside you know for at least the next couple of years the next few years if that is the case.
Yeah I mean that and it even like and look I'm not trying to say this like say you have to vote Republican to get sure sure I'm just giving you the reality here.
I mean the truth is that given the dynamics that this administration will go into immediate lockdown with with a if the Democrats take the majority. Wow well we'll see what happens um hopefully things continue to move forward I I guess we can just say that um I know you it's just a few more minutes here.
Do you still have a little bit more time how much uh can I can I push you here? I need to get to a lunch meeting but but yeah got about five more minutes.
Perfect perfect so on that note then um would it when it just you know just kind of thinking about all those things with with hearings and and and witnesses thinking about some of the other things that are being spoken about with the direct call to action I really wanted to bring that up here before we were done.
Um James Fox who we were at the press conference that was done back in June with David Grush and you were there and of course other congress members Berchett and Luna and so on and so forth Moskowitz um he had put together videos featuring you and Jeff Newsatelli and and others kind of giving that call to action direct call to action to the president let us come forward let us come talk to you we want to do this um how do you see that going is it being is it being heard by the administration and and the office well I think and that like as we were doing that leading up to that press conference the administration was making steps in that direction already.
So that was fantastic and that and we saw that when when the White House came out with their memorandum um at least it it gave a lot more comfort and then then following up on that the conversations that we've had where they've been very open to letting people come through my office and other people's office was I think is really the game changer.
What what I think is that the the thing that really needs to happen is you is and what we said in that press conference is that the people that have already come forward bravely patriotically they they they need to be restored so they're the pensions that they lost the health benefits that they no longer have the the um you know all of those things their clearances that are that were all flagged and now now they they can't work in that kind of security setting that that needs to be restored because if you don't restore that you're sending a message to everyone else that sure you can come forward and sure we'll tell you that we're going to waive your NDA but on the back end if we find anything at all that we you know if if we found that you tied your shoelaces wrong we're gonna we're gonna mark you up and you're gonna lose your clearance right because that's literally what happened to Grush and and these other guys.
Yeah they they you can you can make a you can make a criminal out of anybody you what's the what's the phrase show me the man and I'll show you the crime and I'm not saying they they didn't these people did are not criminals.
I'm saying you you have a convoluted system and a system of rules and they can you can find anybody who you if you're looking hard enough you can find a place where somebody didn't didn't uh do everything perfectly and that's and that that is what they have admitted to me happened to David Grush.
And so now they need to fix it. Now they need to go back in correct the record restore clearances restore restore the benefits that were lost and make it right by the these people who did everything they they could to try to come forward patriotically and correctly in the do using the proper channels but were still punished for it.
They need to make it right and that's what that's what we're really trying to press on and and that what that press conference was about was saying look Mr.
President you have an opportunity make it right to the people that did come forward and then also make create that framework so that people can feel safe to come forward in the future.
Do you feel like that's being heard so far? Yeah it is they they know exactly and and um it's just um hope it's a matter of time before we get before we get uh I think some kind of resolution there.
Very good eric Burleson um thank you so much for coming out on here and doing this and spending all this time it really does mean a lot. I I really appreciate that and hopefully we'll keep up and we can do this again in the future absolutely Eric Burleson thanks so much you do you do a great job Steven and um keep up the great work um and so I'm I'm a listener to your podcast and enjoy it.
Thank you thanks thanks so much Eric we'll talk again soon here on UAP thanks
