[Katie Miller, 0:02] I'm asking both of you.
[Marco Rubio, 0:05] A conspiracy theory that I believe in? Hm.
[Marco Rubio, 0:08] Well, I don't... Okay, it's not a conspiracy theory.
[Katie Miller, 0:10] Okay.
[Marco Rubio, 0:12] Okay. And, um, but I have long been on this UAP thing.
[Katie Miller, 0:16] Okay.
[Marco Rubio, 0:17] And, uh, and now, you know, I've sort of surrendered that portfolio to someone else who you know well, who is very much in charge of the UAP issue. Just be-- again, it's not-- what I say is, I don't know who it is. I don't know what it is. But there are things flying over military installations and they're not ours, and we should look into this. Be serious about it.

[Marco Rubio, 0:34] And I did that for a long time in the Senate. And it had two benefits. The first is that obviously it's a legitimate topic. And the second is, whatever the news of the day was, whether it was controversial, and a reporter comes up to you, and you say to them, "Look, I don't have time for these questions about politics. Do you realize there's things flying over our airspace, you know, we don't know what they are?" And the reporter's like, "Oh, what do you know? Tell me more." So it was extraordinarily effective as a diversionary tactic, in addition to...
[Marco Rubio, 0:59] Now, that said, it's also a very legitimate topic that we should be covering.
[Marco Rubio, 1:03] So I don't call it a conspiracy. I don't know why... I don't know the answer to any of it. I'm just, you know, asking questions about, you know, we should know what's flying over our airspace. But I don't think that's a conspiracy theory as much as it is just... it can be in some sense, because people do believe we're covering something up. And I assure you, like in this administration, if we knew, like the president would be all over. Like there would be, you know, prime-time address, he would be, you know,

[Katie Miller, 1:21] Oh, for sure.
[Marco Rubio, 1:22] you know, he he'd be showing the pictures and the videos. But, you know, Stephen's on that case now, and I think he's doing a great job.
