[00:00:15.120] what is obviously quite a quirky topic
[00:00:16.840] for for many people, what your day job
[00:00:18.440] is?
[00:00:19.120] >> My day job is a barrister. And of course
[00:00:22.040] this is uh completely out of sync with
[00:00:24.000] that, but it's um a subject which I've
[00:00:26.480] followed very closely for 50 years. Uh
[00:00:29.080] I've met most of the key scientists,
[00:00:32.119] researchers through them uh and my job
[00:00:35.240] um introductions to intelligence
[00:00:37.000] officers who've spoken to me off the
[00:00:39.000] record for a long time now. And I
[00:00:41.320] decided to write Not to Disclosure Not
[00:00:43.120] for Disclosure
[00:00:44.440] um to allow people to have an informed
[00:00:46.720] debate on this very important topic.

[00:00:50.360] job is is I mean your day job is
[00:00:52.760] literally evidence-based.

[00:00:54.440] >> Hardcore proof beyond reasonable doubt.

[00:00:58.520] >> And and you in this book feel you've got
[00:01:01.120] that level of uh of evidence to to prove
[00:01:04.120] with
[00:01:04.600] >> There's no question about it. Um the
[00:01:06.560] evidence is is is real. Um I've chosen
[00:01:09.640] the real evidence. Um it it is very
[00:01:12.600] extensive. Um uh it demonstrates a very
[00:01:15.480] clear phenomenon. And the debate now is
[00:01:18.160] no longer whether this is a real
[00:01:19.520] phenomenon or not. It in Washington it's
[00:01:22.120] an open secret uh that it is, and the
[00:01:25.280] debate now is trying to force disclosure
[00:01:28.080] um because Congress has been misled for
[00:01:30.480] 80 years, and governments uh in many
[00:01:33.040] countries around the world have followed
[00:01:34.520] the same policy to hide this phenomenon
[00:01:37.360] um from more public um exposure.
[00:01:39.600] >> Are you then surprised for me to ask
[00:01:42.520] this next question, but it So so you are
[00:01:44.560] absolutely certain
[00:01:46.520] we've had aliens here on Earth.
[00:01:48.760] >> There's no question.
[00:01:50.880] >> Are you struck that I'm still quite
[00:01:53.640] >> Yes. I think um Uh, we have to go back
[00:01:56.000] in fact to the 1940s when this subject
[00:01:58.880] was uh in fact debunked officially for
[00:02:03.280] by the Americans. It was followed by the
[00:02:04.800] British
[00:02:05.920] and by Five Eyes.
[00:02:08.440] But the evidence is overwhelming. Many
[00:02:10.600] intelligence officials have now come
[00:02:13.120] forward to attest to that. There is no
[00:02:15.720] question for example that UAPs have
[00:02:18.680] appeared over all nuclear facilities.
[00:02:21.000] They've interacted with many military
[00:02:23.040] exercises. And there is a lot of hard
[00:02:26.959] evidence and I'm not talking about
[00:02:28.280] witnesses. I'm talking about data
[00:02:31.440] which exists. Much of which has never
[00:02:33.840] been released and Congress now knows the
[00:02:36.560] truth that it has been lied to for 80
[00:02:39.480] years. Much
[00:02:41.480] many tax dollars have been
[00:02:43.000] misappropriated to fund UAP programs and
[00:02:46.760] there is now a big debate with the
[00:02:48.200] Pentagon to release the information.
[00:02:50.640] >> What um
[00:02:52.800] Can you can you understand why
[00:02:54.040] governments have hidden the secret?
[00:02:55.800] >> Yes.
[00:02:56.720] I think two reasons. One
[00:03:00.239] and I accept these concepts are very
[00:03:02.200] difficult for people to grasp which is
[00:03:04.360] one of the reasons I've written the
[00:03:05.200] book.
[00:03:06.440] But there is no doubt at all that the
[00:03:09.160] Americans have been in possession of
[00:03:11.320] crashed craft since the 1940s
[00:03:14.880] and they've recovered others since then.
[00:03:17.720] So the Chinese and so the Russians. And
[00:03:20.560] there are big
[00:03:22.320] technological reverse engineering
[00:03:24.400] programs into the technology of this
[00:03:28.440] mysterious phenomenon. And obviously
[00:03:31.480] whoever wins that will have a very
[00:03:33.080] dominant position.
[00:03:34.720] I think the other reason is that there's
[00:03:37.160] a real fear that despite the money and
[00:03:39.040] time that's been spent on this,
[00:03:41.320] they really are unsure as to a number of
[00:03:44.000] key questions. And simply to announce
[00:03:46.760] that there's a phenomenon without being
[00:03:48.800] able to answer well what's the the
[00:03:50.959] where are they from,
[00:03:52.880] do they believe in God, questions of
[00:03:54.360] that kind would cause a lot of
[00:03:56.040] destabilization.
[00:03:57.200] >> A bigger question to me would be do they
[00:04:00.400] come in peace?
[00:04:01.520] >> Exactly.
[00:04:02.520] >> Do we know do you know address that in
[00:04:04.240] the book?
[00:04:04.720] >> I do address in the book so far as I we
[00:04:06.720] know and of course there's a department
[00:04:08.200] within the CIA the counter proliferation
[00:04:10.480] mission which has that very
[00:04:13.160] subject as it's brief and it is assisted
[00:04:16.480] in intelligence and information from the
[00:04:19.040] State Department. China also has its own
[00:04:22.160] programs into this so does Russia.
[00:04:25.040] >> And just just finally Jonathan I mean in
[00:04:27.480] terms of
[00:04:29.840] what we
[00:04:31.160] hope comes from this publication. I mean
[00:04:33.640] do do you think that we'll make it very
[00:04:35.840] clear
[00:04:37.160] in the years ahead and have a open
[00:04:39.360] discussion about it or do you think the
[00:04:40.680] governments will continue to try and
[00:04:41.880] keep it a secret?
[00:04:42.240] >> I think the time is coming when we're
[00:04:44.200] going to have to have more open
[00:04:45.280] discussion. It's already happening and I
[00:04:47.520] think the key is to have an informed
[00:04:50.200] debate. People need to have information.
[00:04:52.440] We need to have a syllabus where this
[00:04:54.400] subject is taught by academia where
[00:04:57.080] we've got more recognized research in
[00:05:00.160] proper universities and institutions.
