[00:00:20.440] and music played a big part in
[00:00:21.920] communication in Close Encounters of the
[00:00:24.560] Third Kind in 1977.

[00:01:03.320] been interacting with us for many years?

[00:01:06.960] When I made Close Encounters, for me it
[00:01:09.680] was a story that I thought, wouldn't it
[00:01:11.960] be great when this movie comes out,
[00:01:14.720] wouldn't it be great if people like this
[00:01:16.520] movie they come out and they see Close
[00:01:17.800] Encounters and wouldn't it be great if
[00:01:19.800] this someday could all come true?
[00:01:21.960] Wouldn't it be great if this could be
[00:01:24.280] true someday?
[00:01:25.560] And with everything that's happened from
[00:01:27.040] 1977 till today, I can now make
[00:01:30.960] Disclosure Day and say,
[00:01:33.840] isn't it going to be wonderful when
[00:01:35.120] people realize after seeing this movie
[00:01:36.840] that everything is true and has been
[00:01:39.120] true? That's the big difference. Steven
[00:01:41.840] Spielberg, I want you to be right. I

[00:02:09.360] old backpedal going, "I mean I hope
[00:02:11.080] there are aliens out there." And
[00:02:14.040] so obviously he's holding stuff back
[00:02:16.040] from us.

[00:04:30.200] that hasn't changed
[00:04:31.680] is my love for telling stories, my love
[00:04:35.440] for telling stories for an audience, for
[00:04:37.480] all of you, and my love for telling
[00:04:39.880] stories uh just because I like doing it
[00:04:42.919] because it's a thing that I can't do
